Lyndsi Ibarra
This is my 7th year working as a teacher and I am so excited to be a part of the Dual Language program at El Camino. I grew up in Lindsay, California where I had the opportunity to participate in a Dual Language program myself, just like the students at El Camino. Later, I moved to study Spanish and Communication at UCSB. After graduating, I got my teaching credential in Tulare County and completed the Bilingual Authorization program through UCLA. I'm so excited to be a part of the El Camino community this year and help kids learn another language.
Este es mi séptimo año trabajando como maestra y estoy muy emocionada de ser parte del programa de doble inmersión en El Camino. Crecí en Lindsay, California donde tuve la oportunidad de participar en una programa de doble inmersión, como los estudiantes en El Camino. Después me mudé para estudiar Español y comunicación en UCSB. Más tarde recibí mi credencial de enseñanza en el condado de Tulare y mi autorización bilingüe de UCLA. Estoy tan emocionada de ser parte de la comunidad de El Camino este año y ayudar a los estudiantes a aprender otro idioma.

This is my 11th year teaching at El Camino. I moved to Santa Barbara to attend Westmont College, and I am thankful every day that I get to call this beautiful place my home. I recently graduated with my Masters Degree in Reading Instruction from Grand Canyon University and look forward to putting my new knowledge to work. I spend my free time camping with my family, playing soccer, and soaking up every minute with my rambunctious toddler and new baby girl!
Este es mi undécimo año enseñando en El Camino. Me mudé a Santa Bárbara para asistir a Westmont College, y estoy agradecida cada día de poder llamar a este hermoso lugar mi hogar. Recientemente me gradué con mi maestría en Instrucción de Lectura de la Universidad Grand Canyon y espero poner en práctica mis nuevos conocimientos. Paso mi tiempo libre acampando con mi familia, jugando al fútbol y disfrutando de cada minuto con mi revoltoso hijo y mi nueva bebe niña.
