Title IX

Goleta Union School District is committed to providing a learning and working environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. No students or employees, on the basis of sex, shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is one of several federal and state anti-discrimination laws that ensure equity in education.

 

In order to file a complaint, students, parents/guardians, or employees, should report their verbal or written Title IX complaint to a school administrator or to the District’s Title IX Coordinator. Complainants have a right to a timely resolution of their complaints. Please complete the attached form.
