Department Overview:

The Maintenance, Operations and Transportation Department is dedicated to providing a high quality-learning environment for all students and staff in the Goleta Union School District. The department staff maintains ten school sites and the District Office with a commitment to embedded routines of exemplary professional practice and a goal of continuous improvement.

Our leadership and staff strive to provide high levels of confidence by maintaining safe and secure environments for children to learn and play. Our well-trained bus drivers (with approximately 142,000 safe miles driven in the 2011-2012 school year) make it their priority to get students to school on time and ensure they arrive home safely.
